Tartare is a classic dish of raw meat mixed with delicious ingredients. Here is how to make it amazing!

Best cut to use: Striploin - great taste and texture

Important rule: Always cut into small cubes, NEVER grind into a paste. You want to actually feel the meat texture when you eat it!

Classic French Tartare Ingredients:

  • Dijon mustard
  • Shallots (mild, small onions)
  • Capers (salty, briny little buds)
  • Dill pickles
  • A few drops of Tabasco sauce
  • Tiny bit of ginger juice
  • Sherry vinegar
  • Just a few drops of toasted sesame oil (very strong, use sparingly!)
