Grass-Fed vs. Grain-Fed:

  • Grain-fed - mild, familiar flavor, most common in America
  • Grass-fed - earthy, outdoor-like taste
  • True grass-fed means the cow grazed freely its whole life

The Wagyu Fat Secret:
Wagyu fat is genuinely special. It has a lower melting point than regular beef fat.

Try this test: hold wagyu fat in your hand. Your body heat alone will make it melt and turn see-through! Regular beef fat stays solid, behaving more like butter or lard.

This is exactly why wagyu tastes so incredibly rich and smooth.
