Here are pro chef secrets that will seriously upgrade your cooking!

Pepper Guide:

  • White pepper - gentle, great for fish and white meat
  • Black pepper - bold and strong, perfect for red meat
  • Green pepper - fresh and soft, classic in pepper steak
  • Pro tip: cook with white pepper, add black pepper at the very end

Miso Marinade Magic:
Rub white miso paste on beef and leave it overnight. It creates incredible sweetness, beautiful caramelization, and a whole new flavor!

The Hand Test for Doneness:

  • Softer palm feel = rare to medium-rare
  • Harder palm feel = well done

The chef's perfect steak temperature is 45C, which is quite rare. Interestingly, he only eats meat twice a month because fish digests much faster than meat!
