Making your own hummus is easier than you think, and way healthier than store-bought.

Here is what you need:

  • Chickpeas (canned or cooked) - packed with protein and fiber
  • Fresh lemon juice - adds a bright, tangy flavor
  • Tahini - sesame paste that makes it creamy and nutty
  • Garlic cloves - for flavor
  • Sea salt - just a pinch
  • Extra virgin olive oil - makes it smooth and rich

Blend it all together and you have a snack with real, whole ingredients and no weird preservatives. Pair it with veggies for the perfect healthy snack plate.
