How to Make Your Own Protein Bar at Home 🍫

LIP #293

Making your own protein bar is simple, healthy, and cheaper than store-bought. Here's the formula:

The 33/33/33 Base Rule:

  • 1/3 smooth (nut butter or seed butter)
  • 1/3 grain (oats, puffed rice, or quinoa flakes)
  • 1/3 crunch (nuts, seeds, chocolate chips)

Great add-ins:
Chia seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sliced almonds, dates, dark chocolate (62%+ cacao), and sea salt flakes

Pro tips:

  • Use 4–5x more oats than any other single ingredient
  • Add a drizzle of olive oil for binding and flavor
  • Salt makes things taste sweeter — no extra sugar needed
  • Freeze for 30–60 minutes before slicing for clean cuts

Each bar contains: 20–30g of protein

Shelf life:

  • Fridge: up to 60 days
  • Freezer: up to 180 days

No baking required — this is pure, simple, real food.
