🥗 What Makes a Snack Actually Healthy?

Not all snacks are created equal. Here is what a healthy snack pantry looks like:

  • Whole foods - as close to natural as possible
  • Fermented foods - great for gut health and last up to a year
  • Carefully chosen processed foods - small portions only
  • Natural ingredients with no preservatives

A perfectly balanced snack plate includes:

  • 3-4 small veggie pieces
  • One spoonful of hummus
  • A small handful of nuts
  • A small piece of dark chocolate (72% cocoa)

Total: around 100-150 calories, just enough to recharge without overdoing it.
