💧 Water First, Snack Second
When you feel tired or hungry, your body might actually just be thirsty.
Dehydration tricks your brain into thinking you need food or a sugary drink. The simple fix: drink water first, then snack if you still need to. Aim for a glass of water every hour.
When it comes to fruit, not all are equal:
- Berries are your best friends, low sugar and great for your gut
- Tropical fruits have more sugar because of high sun exposure
- Grapes have quite a bit of sugar, so choose berries instead
Pro tip: Add two drops of vinegar to water when cleaning berries.
