🎯 Playing Offense When Life Gets Hard
When life gets hard, your brain wants to spiral into shame and what-ifs. The answer is to play offense, not defense.
Your daily sequence for tough times:
- Truth - face reality honestly; avoiding it leads to bad decisions
- Toughness - do something physical (push-ups, a plank)
- Calm - settle your mind (a warm shower works great)
- Playfulness - stay loose to avoid performance anxiety
When facing a big challenge, make two plans:
- Plan A - best case scenario and steps to get there
- Plan Z - worst case scenario and how you would survive it
During a crisis, save emotions for later. Focus only on strategy and action. Be firm and direct with your inner voice - tell anxious thoughts to wait, and get back to the mission.
