🏈 Stop Playing Defense: How to Switch to Offense Mode
Most of us spend way too much time in defense mode - walking around with a big list of worries and 'if this happens, then I'll do that' plans.
But that's playing for the wrong team!
The goal is to flip the script:
- 80% of your mental energy on offense (what YOU want to create and make happen)
- 20% thinking about what could go wrong
This is called having agency - being the one who drives your life forward instead of just reacting to others.
Here's the tricky part: our brains are wired for defense. It's a survival thing. So learning to play offense is like building a new muscle - it takes practice.
Think of it like learning to ride a bike. You will fall. That's completely normal. The frustrating moments when you want to quit? That's actually when the real learning happens.
