⚔️ Offense and Defense: The Two Skills You Need to Succeed
There are two skills that matter more than almost anything else in life.
Offense means building momentum. When you get on that flywheel, it solves a lot of problems. Most things in life get better when momentum is flowing.
Defense means learning how to reset — and here is the surprising part: you actually have to hit rock bottom to reset. It is like touching the bottom of a pool. You need that surface to push back up from.
A lot of people stay stuck in the simmer zone — feeling bad but not wanting to dig deeper. That is not rock bottom. That is just a slow drain on your energy.
The big mistake? Treating these as sequential:
- Process rock bottom first
- Then focus on winning
But failing gracefully is not winning. No number of failures adds up to a win. You have to play offense too.
