⚖️ The Better Me vs Better You Balance
Everything you do is driven by two types of stories:
- Better Me - growing your skills and building confidence
- Better You - helping others and making a difference
What happens when they are out of balance:
| Too much of... | Result |
|----------------|--------|
| Better Me only | Success but people find you unlikeable |
| Better You only | Good intentions but not enough skill to help |
The sweet spot is when both sides feed each other - like putting on your oxygen mask first so you can help others.
Under stress, you always fall back to your stronger side. To grow, you must deliberately overcompensate on your weaker side - even when it feels unnatural.
Success = Consistency (daily habits) + Intensity (focused effort)
