🍫 Make Your Own Healthy Granola (No Corn Syrup!)
Most store-bought granola is packed with corn syrup. Making your own is simple and so much healthier.
Basic Granola Recipe (100g of each):
- Oats, walnuts, almonds, quinoa
- Cacao nibs, flax seeds
- 50g egg white (or chickpea liquid for egg-free)
- 50g maple syrup
Why maple syrup? It is easier to digest than honey and much lower in sugar than corn syrup.
Baking tips:
- Spread flat on a tray
- Bake at 250 degrees for 30 minutes
- Low heat slowly dries it without burning
- Leave oven door slightly open if your oven runs hot
Store with paper to absorb moisture and it lasts up to 2 months.
