💪 Building Your Courage Muscle: The 3X Rule
No matter how much you want something, without courage you cannot pursue it. Courage is the number one skill to build today - and like a muscle, it can be trained.
The key is the 3X Rule: approach every challenge expecting at least three attempts.
- Do not send one email and wait forever - assume a "no" within 20 minutes and try a boldly different approach
- In hard conversations, plan for three rounds of discussion, not just one
- Someone emailed Jeff Bezos 20 times before getting a response
Also check your mindset before acting. Are you genuinely excited about what you are doing? Authentic wanting produces real results. Hollow effort produces hollow outcomes.
Remember: action reduces anxiety. Get in the arena first, then figure it out.
