🌀 Poaching, Boiling, and Fancy Egg Tricks

There are so many cool ways to cook eggs beyond just frying them!

French Omelet:

  • Beat eggs until slightly bubbly
  • Cook on low heat for a smooth, pale yellow result
  • Add brie cheese or truffles for something special

Perfect Poached Eggs:

  • Use very fresh eggs
  • Add a spoonful of vinegar to the water
  • Create a gentle whirlpool before dropping the egg in
  • Water should be just below boiling

Hard-Boiled Eggs:

  • Start with cold water and cold eggs together
  • Never drop cold eggs into boiling water, shells will crack!
  • 6 minutes for soft, 8 for medium, 10 for hard

Bonus trick: Egg whites can clarify cloudy broths, attracting all the particles and leaving a crystal-clear soup!
