Wagyu cooking guidelines for optimal results:

🔥 Cook quickly and serve rare to medium-rare

Never cook well-done because:

  • Unique fat completely melts away
  • Results in tough meat
  • Wastes the premium quality

Testing wagyu fat quality:
🤲 Hold fat in your hands:

  • High-quality wagyu: Melts at body temperature, becomes translucent
  • Regular beef fat: Behaves like butter/lard, higher melting point

💡 The goal: Maintain texture while allowing the special fat to enhance flavor

Perfect temperature: 45°C (rare) for the ultimate wagyu experience
