Here is something surprising: courage is an emotion, not just a decision. That means you can prepare for it.

Try starting your day emotionally, not just logically. Play a song that pumps you up. Get fired up before your brain starts overthinking.

Aim for an 80% optimism, 20% alertness mindset.

Managing negative thoughts:

  • Even positive people have negative thoughts - the secret is not to feed them
  • Do not suppress fears - they will come out sideways and affect others
  • Write them down and park them instead of ignoring them

Venting vs. Acting:
Venting without action just makes you feel better temporarily. The real move is to acknowledge the emotion and then channel that energy into making something better.

Awareness plus grace equals transformation.
