Why AI Might Be Making Us Less Smart

Young people are becoming so dependent on AI that their own thinking is getting weaker. A 22-year-old Stanford graduate couldn't recall basic words without asking ChatGPT first.

Think of it this way: If you never walk because you always take a car, your legs get weaker. Same thing happens to your brain.

What You Lose When You Stop Thinking

  • Handwriting notes builds real memory connections
  • AI summaries skip important brain processes
  • Over-relying on outside tools weakens your judgment
