🔧 The Mental Warm-Up System for Peak Performance

Just like physical workouts need warm-ups, mental work requires preparation to avoid getting stuck in your head or triggered during important conversations.

The Morning Mental Warm-Up Process:

  1. List things occupying your mind (like "mountain tops" of thoughts)
  2. Dictate using your phone to expand on each topic
  3. Continue until you feel emotionally engaged and lighter
  4. Move physically while speaking for better results

Why It Matters:
Without mental warm-ups, meetings become 90-99% interpersonal drama instead of strategic work.

Building Mental Muscle:

  • Practice authenticity in safe environments first
  • Develop skills to handle criticism
  • Learn to manage triggers
  • Practice considering opposite viewpoints

Remember: This process functions as meditation, allowing thoughts to flow without judgment.
