⚡ Fear vs Frustration: The Two Mental Blockers
Two primary emotions block effective thinking and innovation: fear and frustration. People typically struggle more with one than the other, creating distinct personality types.
Type One (Fear-Driven):
- Experience nervous energy and anxiety about uncertainty
- Make negative predictions: "I won't be able to cope"
- Think "I'm not good enough yet"
- Solution: Lean INTO fear by doing one unpredictable hard thing daily
Type Two (Frustration-Driven):
- Have faith things will work out but get annoyed when reality doesn't match expectations
- Focus too much on what others should do
- Solution: "Park" frustrations and focus on what's within their control
The key insight: The solutions are completely opposite - what helps one type can actually harm the other.
