Fear and frustration are the primary killers of ambition and independent thinking:

  • Fear emerges when something seems impossible
  • Frustration stems from thinking something should be easier

These emotions operate differently - frustration grows like bubble bath (cascading), while fear burns like a bonfire (intensifying when fed).

The Mental Training Framework:

  • Spend 5% of your week (two hours) on high-level brainstorming
  • Use the 6-4-2 approach for brainstorming practice
  • Train in 'hard mode' to make normal challenges feel easier
  • Build mental routines that create sustainable momentum

Success Strategy: Practice earned dreaming - tackle difficult tasks early in the week, then allow creative thinking later. This builds genuine mental strength rather than relying on superficial solutions.
