✍️ The Visceral Draft: Getting Your Best Ideas Out Fast
A visceral draft is when you quickly write down your raw, honest thoughts before your brain has time to overthink them.
How to do it:
- Grab a blank piece of paper
- Move away from your desk to reduce distractions
- Write fast - don't stop to judge yourself
- Focus on what winning looks like, not just fears or to-do lists
You can use visceral drafts for:
- Planning a tough meeting
- Setting 30-day goals
- Thinking through a new project
If you can't speak up in a group, write your thoughts in a notebook and circle them. At least YOU will know what you really think.
Remember: if something doesn't feel right after writing it out, trust your gut and don't force it.
