🦹 Meet Your Hijacker Brain (And How to Stop It)

Inside your head, there's a constant battle.

The 'hijacker brain' (left side) almost always wins - feeding you fear, complaints, and victim thinking.

When things get risky or high-stakes, the hijacker grabs the microphone.

The damage is real: Letting it take over can spiral into days or even weeks of negative thinking.

How to fight back:

  1. Build awareness - you can't fight what you can't see
  2. Give your hijacker a name - separate it from your true self
  3. When you catch it talking, call it out: 'That's just my hijacker'
  4. Notice when your brain checks out of conversations and be honest about it

Awareness is your greatest weapon against the hijacker.
