🚪 Open the Door: Why Sharing Your Thinking Changes Everything
One of the hardest parts of growing as a leader is this: you cannot fix what others cannot see.
Keeping your thinking hidden does not just hold you back — it holds everyone around you back too.
Three things that get in the way:
- Waiting for safety — expecting others to create it for you instead of creating it yourself
- Hidden assumptions — making quiet judgment calls that nobody else can see or challenge
- Going tactical — defaulting to what you have always done when things get unclear, instead of asking what experience you actually want to create
The fix is uncomfortable but simple: get your thinking out in the open. Share your work with real people who will push back.
Progress is not linear. Some days feel like you are going backwards. But it always comes down to the reps.
