Two Types of Stress:

๐ŸŸข Eustress (Good Stress)

  • Positive challenges (sports, work goals)
  • Motivating and energizing

๐Ÿ”ด Distress (Bad Stress)

  • Being unprepared or overwhelmed
  • Triggers excess cortisol production

The Cortisol Effect:

  • Creates fight-or-flight response
  • Body retains calories and fat for survival
  • No matter what you eat, high stress = fat accumulation

Major Contributors to Visceral Fat:

  • ๐Ÿบ Alcohol
  • ๐Ÿž Excess refined carbohydrates
  • ๐Ÿฅซ Processed foods
  • ๐Ÿงช Preservatives and additives

Measuring Challenge: Only reliable through CAT scans or surgery
