⚖️ Finding Balance: Confidence vs. Humility
Character development focuses on balancing two critical traits: confidence and humility.
Think of them as muscles that need consistent training:
Under stress, people default to their stronger trait:
- Excess confidence → Arrogance
- Excess humility → Insecurity
The solution:
- Recognize your imbalance
- Intentionally strengthen the weaker trait
- Make bold moves (like balancing a boat - no small steps!)
Goal: Train your weaker trait until it becomes nearly as natural as your stronger one, similar to developing both forehand and backhand in tennis.
