🏋️ Training Your Emotions Step by Step

Getting better at managing emotions starts with one step: figure out what you're blocking.

How to start:

  1. Be honest with others about how you feel right now
  2. Track your emotional state week by week
  3. Celebrate small progress - moving from despair to sad is still progress

Important training rule: order matters.
Focusing on perfection first will slow down your speed. Train speed before quality.

People fall into two types:

  • Sprinters (burn energy fast)
  • Marathoners (pace themselves)

Both types need to practice the opposite to become balanced.

The goal is simple: be able to shift into whatever emotional state the situation needs - calm, bold, or persistent.
