🧠 Why Your Brain Needs a Primary Focus
Your brain is always picking a primary focus — whether you choose one or not.
If you do not pick one on purpose, your brain picks one for you. And it is usually something unhealthy, like trying not to look stupid.
Why that is dangerous:
When your hidden goal is avoiding embarrassment, you might start making others look worse just to look better. That destroys teams.
The fix: Pick your primary project on purpose. Commit fully — hell or high water.
Primary vs. Secondary:
- Primary = all in, no matter what
- Secondary = care, but not that much — multiple is great!
Secondary projects are like petri dishes where new ideas grow. Without them, you go in mental circles.
The JFDI Principle: Just Freaking Do It. Stop overthinking. You learn more from doing than from planning in your head.
