High Agency: The Skill You Can't Skip
Leadership = High Agency. They are the exact same thing.
High agency means YOU are driving - making decisions, taking responsibility, and figuring things out. Low agency means waiting for someone else to tell you what to do.
The two big pillars of leadership:
- Constant learning - Get so good at learning that when things change, you adapt fast
- Execute - Think about it, then actually DO it. Get feedback. Adjust.
Leadership is NOT about giving great speeches. It's a contact sport - you have to get in the arena.
The big warning: Every conversation and thought builds one of two muscles - high agency or low agency. You're always building one. Make it intentional.
