🎨 Chefs and Artists Think Differently
Artists and chefs are both creative, but they work in opposite directions.
- An artist starts with a big idea or feeling, then finds materials to bring it to life.
- A chef often starts with ingredients and discovers the idea through cooking.
Chef Danny sees himself as a cook first, not an artist. He says the title of chef is just a position earned in a kitchen, and artistry comes out naturally as a result of the work, not as the starting point.
This applies to any creative field:
Some people need the idea first. Others need to start working before the idea shows up.
Neither way is wrong. They are just different paths to making something amazing.
