The One-All Approach - Test Small Before Going Big

Before rolling anything out to everyone, go through these three stages:

1. Does it work for me?
2. Does it work for someone else (who might be different from me)?
3. Can it scale to everybody?

Most people skip straight to step 3 - that is where things fall apart.

Real example - the mobile app launch:

• Started with a rough, non-functional prototype
• Shared with 50 trusted users via TestFlight
• Went through 7 different versions before full release
• Released to own team first, then 20 clients, then broader audience

Two important warning signs:

• When you emotionally want something off your plate - slow down, do not rush
• Polite feedback is not the same as genuine excitement - learn to spot the difference

Each stage gives you new information to make the product better before it reaches everyone.
