🔄 Recovery: The Foundation of Healthy Living

Recovery is the foundation of healthy living and depends on two main factors:

Food choices - Your body can only absorb ~20g protein per hour
Quality sleep - Minimum 7 hours needed

Protein Digestion Times:

  • Whey protein: Fastest absorption
  • Fish: 2-3 hours
  • Eggs: 7 hours
  • Red meat: 7-10 hours

⚠️ Key Rule: Exercise and digestion are mutually exclusive! Wait 2-3 hours after eating before working out.

💤 Sleep Tips: Avoid heavy meals before bed and reduce screen time for better recovery.
