π Stop Waiting, Start Moving: How to Beat Auto-Hesitation
Auto-hesitation is that automatic habit of holding back before you act β and it happens to almost everyone.
Whether it is volunteering to present, sending a message, or pitching an idea, the sneaky thing is it always feels justified. But here is the truth: whatever you do will change and improve anyway, so waiting for perfect is just wasting time.
The fix: Schedule it first, figure out the content second.
Also try the Three Buckets Framework for weekly growth:
- Bucket 1 β People less experienced than you (you teach)
- Bucket 2 β People at your same level (you collaborate)
- Bucket 3 β People more experienced than you (you learn)
The longer you sit without acting, the harder it gets. Sometimes you just have to throw yourself in the water β most of the time, you will find it is shallow enough to stand up.
