🌲 The Tree Skiing Mindset
The human brain cannot process negatives - if told 'don't think of an elephant,' you automatically think of one.
This applies to everything:
- Pilots told 'don't hit the obstacle' are more likely to hit it
- Skiers focusing on 'don't hit trees' end up hitting them
Life is like tree skiing - navigating through obstacles and challenges. The key is focusing on the path, not the trees.
When you constantly think:
- 'Don't have a bad day'
- 'Don't get in conflict'
You're actually manifesting those negative outcomes.
Instead, focus on what you want to achieve. Tree skiing requires complete presence and flow - you can't map out every obstacle from A to Z, you must stay present and find your path through the challenges.
