🍵 Easy Miso Soup You Can Make Anywhere
You do not need a kitchen to make a healthy miso soup. Here is how simple it is:
Basic Miso Tea Recipe:
- Put a teaspoon of white miso in a mug
- Pour hot green tea over it
- Stir and drink
Want to upgrade it?
- Add a few dried shiitake mushrooms to the hot water
- Let them steep for 4-5 minutes before adding miso
- The mushrooms add a rich, savory flavor called umami
Why this is great:
- Miso contains good bacteria (probiotics)
- Green tea adds antioxidants
- Miso does not need refrigeration, keep it at your desk
When grocery shopping, stick to the outer edges of the store where fresh, whole foods live. The inner aisles are mostly processed foods.
