What is Vibe Coding? 🚀
Vibe coding is a term coined by Andre Karpathi (OpenAI co-founder) describing a new approach to programming where you 'fully give into the vibes' - you see stuff, save stuff, run stuff and copy paste stuff and it mostly works.
Unlike traditional programming that requires learning multiple languages:
- HTML (structure)
- CSS (styling)
- JavaScript (animations)
- Server-side languages
Vibe coding uses AI tools like:
- 🔧 Lovable
- ⚡ Bolt
- 🔄 Replit
These tools convert plain English instructions into functional code. You can literally ask it to 'build me a landing page for a petting zoo' and watch it create a complete website!
Key Benefits:
- Overcomes coding blocks
- Reduces repetitive tasks
- Makes programming accessible to non-engineers
- Helps experienced developers work faster
