🔍 The Power of Reflection and Going All-In
Being Present and Learning From Every Experience
Two habits that will seriously level up your performance.
Going All-In means being genuinely engaged in what you are doing right now, not just checking boxes to get through it. Ask yourself honestly - am I really here, or am I just going through the motions?
Greg flew to a General Motors pitch after being told he was cut from the final round. The meeting went badly and he felt small. But instead of giving up, he used that feeling as fuel to get better. That is what going all-in looks like even when things go wrong.
Reflection is how you actually improve. Most action-focused people skip it because they are always rushing forward.
Try this: after any experience, take a few minutes to ask yourself:
- What worked?
- What would I do differently?
- What did I notice?
Personal reflection done quickly leads to less regret and more willingness to try again.
